Franklin Mountain, Upper Edge of the Catskills
A hike on Franklin Mountain took us to the home of Rod and Sally, past their beautiful pond, through meadows and a bluestone quarry, to a neighbor’s pond for lunch. The hike was about five miles long and finished with refreshments on the deck, under gray skies.
