Fabulous Farmers’ Markets
This summer, in California, we discovered the pleasures of the farmers’ markets in our area. Each is held on a different day, one in the evening. The array of organic produce, ethnic food, and live plants is stunning. Among our favorites are the crepes and tofu salads at the California Avenue Sunday market, the sweet corn from Brentwood, and the roasted chickens. We still want to try the Afghani food and the fresh oysters.
